The history of the company Bodenburg

  • 1982

    Foundation by Mr. Günter Bodenburg of Handelskontor Bodenburg GmbH import-export agency, which was then registered in the Commercial Register on 19.05.1982.

  • 1984

    The then 18-year-old son and current business owner Norbert Bodenburg also invested his savings in the import and export company. After working in the company on a temporary basis and completing his military service, he joined the company in September 1984 to complete his training as a wholesale and export merchant.

  • 1992

    Norbert Bodenburg is appointed managing director. In the same year, Armelle Suldinger is hired for the accounting department and customer support. Since then, the native Frenchwoman has also been the contact person for the numerous French customers.

  • 1994

    The company moves into its current offices in the "Penzberger Glaspalast".

  • 1997

    Due to the increasing amount of organizational and logistical tasks, the team in the middle is supported by Michael Wiesner in this area and is still an indispensable part of the family team.

  • 2005

    The company founder Günter Bodenburg retires.

  • 2007

    The approval/certification for the trade with organic products takes place.

    Philipp Bodenburg, the third generation, joins the family business.

  • 2008

    The brothers Camille-Constantin and Mathieu Bodenburg also follow to continue the family tradition.

  • 2010

    Issuance of the AEO certificate (for approval as an exporter in accordance with the Customs Code Implementing Regulation and the ATLAS export procedure)

  • 2012

    The 30th anniversary of the company was celebrated extensively.

  • 2016

    Expansion of the business premises with relocation to the new premises.

  • 2019

    Johnathan Bondenburg is another family member joining our team.
